Wellness and services overview

Verified May 2, 20261 min read

Beyond rooms and POS products, every property has a long tail of things they sell — spa, transfers, parking, breakfast, late checkout, pet fees, day passes. The services module is the catalog for all of these.

What a service looks like

Backoffice → Services → +. Fields:

  • Name and description — what the guest sees on the invoice.
  • Price and tax — base price plus VAT lines (included or added).
  • Calculation type — per stay, per night, per person, per use. Drives total when attached to a reservation.
  • Frequency — one-time or recurring nightly.
  • POS points — which sales stations can sell it (so the spa terminal sees spa services and the front desk sees transfers).
  • Code and other codes — the country-specific classification used by your fiscal integration.

Common patterns

  • Spa treatments — per use, one-time, sold from the Spa POS point. Each treatment is one service (60-min Massage, Facial Standard, Pedicure).
  • Airport transfer — per use, one-time, sold from front desk. Two services usually — Transfer Arrival, Transfer Departure — so the operations team sees them separately on the daily run sheet.
  • Parking supplement — per night, recurring nightly, attached at booking. Auto-totals across the stay.
  • Late checkout — per stay, one-time, sold from front desk on the day of departure.
  • Breakfast supplement — per night, per person, recurring nightly. Multiplies adults × nights × breakfast rate so a family of four for three nights is charged correctly.
  • Pet fee — per stay or per night depending on policy. Sold from front desk.

Where services show up in the rest of HotelBee

  • On reservations, as add-ons charged with the room.
  • On invoices, as separate fiscal-compliant line items.
  • On POS, as orderable items at the right POS points.
  • On reports, as their own revenue category (Service Revenue line in the General Report).
