Is HotelBee Payments built on Stripe?

Yes. HotelBee Payments is a white-label of Stripe Connect. That means the rails, the security, the global coverage and the compliance posture are all Stripe's. The hospitality flows on top, deposits, holds, charge-to-room, folio reconciliation, fiscal compliance, are HotelBee.

What does it cost?

A flat 4.4% per transaction, all-inclusive, that covers Stripe processing, card-network fees, fraud screening and HotelBee's platform margin. No monthly fee, no setup, no terminal rental, no hidden costs. The same rate applies to cards, wallets and most Stripe-supported methods.

Which payment methods can I accept?

All Stripe-supported methods. Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, SEPA Direct Debit, BACS, iDEAL, Bancontact and many more depending on your country. We turn methods on per property based on where your guests are coming from.

How fast do funds reach my bank account?

Standard Stripe payout schedule, typically T+2 in most European countries, with daily, weekly or rolling settlement options. Multi-currency settlement is available; you can accept in EUR, USD, GBP and more, and settle to your operating currency.

How are refunds, chargebacks and disputes handled?

Refunds are one click from the folio (full or partial) and reverse the charge on Stripe. For disputes, we pre-build the Stripe evidence packet from the booking record, booking confirmation, signed deposit, check-in / check-out timestamps and any communication with the guest, so dispute response takes minutes, not hours.

Is it PCI-compliant?

Yes. Card data never touches HotelBee servers. Stripe's Elements and Payment Intents handle the sensitive parts in their PCI DSS Level 1 environment. We are PCI DSS SAQ-A compliant as a result, with no card data stored in HotelBee.
