How to Set Up Minimum Stay Requirements for Your Website in HotelBee
Offering tailored booking conditions on your own website is an effective way to encourage direct reservations and strengthen guest relationships. HotelBee allows you to apply minimum stay requirements exclusively to your Booking Engine, ensuring that the rules displayed on your website can differ from those distributed to external channels. This article explains, step by step, how to configure these settings.
Introduction
Minimum stay requirements determine how many nights a guest must book when their stay involves a particular date. By applying them only to your Booking Engine, you retain full control over the conditions presented on your website. HotelBee provides two complementary options for this purpose: Min Stay Arrival and Min Stay Through, both of which can be adjusted within the Website Exclusive section.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1 — Access the Backoffice section Log in to your HotelBee account and open the Backoffice section from the main menu. This area contains the administrative tools required to manage your property's rates, availability, and booking conditions.
Step 2 — Open the Prices menu Within the Backoffice, select Prices. Here you will find the full list of rates configured for your property, allowing you to review and adjust each one according to your commercial strategy.

Step 3 — Select the desired rate From the list, select the rate you wish to configure. Opening the rate gives you access to its detailed settings, where the various channel and restriction options can be managed.
Step 4 — Choose the Booking Engine option only Ensure that only the Booking Engine option is selected. This step is essential, as it restricts the changes you are about to make to your website alone, leaving the rates and conditions on your other connected channels unaffected.
Step 5 — Open the Website Exclusive section Navigate to the Website Exclusive section and click More to display the additional settings. This section groups together the conditions that apply solely to bookings made through your own website.
Step 6 — Set Min Stay Arrival and Min Stay Through Locate the Min Stay Arrival and Min Stay Through fields and enter the number of nights you wish to enforce:
- Min Stay Arrival applies the restriction to guests whose arrival date falls on the selected dates. For example, a value of two requires that any guest arriving on those dates books a minimum of two nights.
- Min Stay Through applies the restriction to any stay that passes through the selected dates, regardless of the arrival date, which is particularly useful for protecting periods of high demand.

Step 7 — Save your changes Once the values are set, confirm and save. HotelBee will immediately apply the new minimum stay requirements to your Booking Engine.
Conclusion
By configuring Min Stay Arrival and Min Stay Through within the Website Exclusive section, you can create booking conditions that are unique to your own website. This flexibility allows you to reward direct guests, manage occupancy more effectively, and protect key dates without affecting your external channels. Reviewing these settings regularly ensures that your Booking Engine continues to reflect your commercial goals throughout the year.
